Welcome!
I am an Assistant Professor in the Philosophy Department at California State University, Fullerton.
Previously, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Kansas State University. I earned my PhD at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. While completing my dissertation, I was on fellowship at Saint Louis University, participating in their Intellectual Humility Project. Check out my CV.
I mostly research extremism, evidence, and social epistemology. Check out my research page.
I mostly teach epistemology, logic, ethics, and philosophy of science. During the pandemic, I got quite good at video editing. Check out my teaching page.
I am a first-generation college graduate, committed to helping other first-generation students succeed. To that end, I created and continue to develop the "First-Generation CSUF Philosophy Student Workshop." Check out my first-gen page.
I recently discovered that Kant is my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-philosophical-grandfather.
